We have been alerted to a telephone and texting scam affecting Florence Bank customers.
In this scam, customers receive a telephone call with "Florence Bank" appearing on the caller ID and are informed that they have suspicious activity on their account. They are then texted a link to a fraudulent website page that requests them to enter their online banking credentials. The caller tells them that downloading the link and providing their online banking credentials will allow them to enroll in a fraud protection service.
Do not open the text message(s) or click on the link(s) provided. If you suspect your account has been compromised, please call us at 413-586-1300 during business hours. You can also contact us via email, our website, or by sending a secure message in mobile or online banking.
